Deep Tissue Massage
Swedish massage techniques have been used effectively for 200 years. They include deep, firm muscle kneading, muscle stripping, cross-fibre frictioning and penetrating petrissage techniques. You are in control of the pressure; it can be as deep or as light as you want. Let's soften the knots and get the blood flowing!

Fascial Release
Fascia encases and runs through all muscle. It is a spring loaded mesh that stores and releases energy as it moves.  Fascia should have stretch, fluid suppleness and independent slide and glide from surrounding tissues for powerful, dynamic movement.  Fascial techniques include skin rolling, shearing and deep traction along fascial planes to return dynamic elasticity.

Trigger Point Release
Trigger points are tiny nodules of irritated tissue within muscle that can generate big pain.  They can be the cause of muscle weakness and tenderness as well as refer pain to other areas.  Techniques for release include slow muscle stripping and ischemic compression; all in an effort to release the nodules, allow blood flow, and return the area to normal function.

Scar tissue Release
Sprains, strains, incisions and micro-tears result in an inflammatory response.  Areas of scarring develop resulting in adhered, thickened tissue that is bound together and resists fluid movement. Release of scar tissue includes a combination of techniques including stripping, shearing and cross-fibre frictioning.  The goal: soften thickened tissue and regain stretch and freedom of movement.
